Modern Logistics President and Chief Financial Officer Mario Fernandes da Costa will join Cargo Facts LATAM 2023 for the panel discussion “Latin American carriers and the future of narrowbodies” on Tuesday, May 16 at 1:45 a.m. (GMT -5).
The inaugural Cargo Facts LATAM will take place at the W Panama Hotel in Panama City on May 15-17, in an event that will gather industry leaders in the region to offer their perspectives and analyses on market trends and provide an outlook on the Latin American air cargo market.

Brazil-based Modern Logistics recently told Cargo Facts that it will lease at least two 737-800BCFs, which it expects to receive in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. The company previously had been looking for a replacement for its aging fleet of 737 Classics.
Fernandes da Costa has been in his CFO role at Modern Logistics since 2018. He brings more than thirty years of experience to the position. Prior to joining Modern Logistics, he served as director of finance at Dutch international conglomerate Makro (SHV Group) and as a finance executive at DHL Logistics and Walmart Brazil.
