October transactions reach new heights

Cargo Facts logged a total of 120 Freighter Aircraft Transactions (FATs) in October, well above this year’s record of 100 in June and more than any other month in at least the past couple of years. While Avolon’s commitment for thirty conversions with Israel Aerospace Industries’ new A330-300BDSF program contributed to the record number in October, the month was a busy one in its own right in terms of orders, deliveries, inductions, redeliveries, leases and acquisitions, involving freighters from the 747-8F down to the ATR 72-600F. Below is a complete list of FATs recorded last month. These transactions originally appeared in our November 2021 issue , available to subscribers, and are in our FAT Database . UPS took delivery of a 747-8F (65777) from Boeing and ferried it to Louisville (SDF) [FAT 006704]. The Challenge Group placed an order for four 777-300ERSF conversions with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) [FATs 006778-6781]. FedEx Express reactivated an MD-11F (48476) and ferried it from Victorville (VCV) to Singapore (QPG) for maintenance [FAT 006655]. FedEx also placed an order for one 777F with Boeing [FAT 006659]. FedEx also took delivery of a 777F (66258) from Boeing and ferried it to Memphis (MEM) [FAT 006703]. An unidentified customer placed an order for five 777Fs from Boeing [FATs 006660-6664]. EVA Air took delivery of a 777F (67031) from Boeing [FAT 006674]. Avolon placed an order for thirty A330-300BDSF conversions with IAI [FATs 006744-6773]. FedEx took delivery of two 767-300Fs (63128 and 66253) from Boeing, and ferried them to Indianapolis (IND) [FATs 006628 and 006685]. SF Airlines acquired a 767-300ER (29618, ex-Pegas Fly), and inducted it for conversion with Boeing in Singapore (QPG) [FATs 006636-6637]. Amazon took delivery of a 767-300BDSF (27451, ex-American Airlines) on lease from Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM), and placed it with Air Transport International for CMI operation [FATs 006638-6639]. DHL Express acquired a 767-300ER (40592, ex-LATAM) from Jetran [FAT 006640]. DHL also took delivery of a 767-300BDSF (29606, ex-American Airlines), on lease from CAM. The aircraft will be operated by DHL Air UK [FAT 006668]. DHL also took redelivery of a 767-300BCF (33088, ex-American Airlines) after conversion with Boeing at QPG [FAT 006694]. LATAM Cargo inducted for conversion one of its own 767-300ERs (35696). The aircraft will be converted with Boeing in Singapore (SIN) [FAT 006666]. CAM acquired a 767-300ER (25584, ex-Air Canada) [FAT 006686]. CAM also inducted for conversion a 767-300ER (25121, ex-Air Canada). The aircraft will be converted by IAI in Tel Aviv (TLV) [FAT 006702]. CAM also took redelivery of a 767-300BDSF (29605, ex-American Airlines), after conversion with IAI at TLV [FAT 006724]. The Challenge Group placed an order for four 767-300BDSF conversions with IAI [FATs 006774-6777]. Jetran acquired a 767-300ER (41966, ex-LATAM) [FAT 006691]. DHL transferred a 767-200BDSF (22566) from Atlas Air to ABX Air for CMI operation [FATs 006652-6653]. Poland-based SkyTaxi took delivery of a 767-200BDSF (23146, ex-DHL International) on lease from CAM and began operating it on an ACMI basis for DHL [FATs 006681-6682]. SF Airlines took redelivery of a 757-200PCF (33099, ex-TUI Airways) after conversion with Precision Aircraft Solutions in Chengdu [FAT 006643]. BlackRock inducted for conversion a 757-200 (28836, ex-TUI Airways). The aircraft will be converted by Precision Aircraft Solutions in Xiamen (XMN) [FAT 006687]. Pacific Air Express removed its 757-200PCF (22611, ex-DHL) from the fleet [FAT 006786]. SmartLynx Malta took delivery of an A321-200P2F (1017, ex-R Airlines) on lease from Vallair and began operating it in ACMI service for DHL Express [FATs 006625-6626]. Greenwich Highland Aviation placed an order for two A321-200PCF conversions with 321 Precision Conversions, and will lease the two aircraft to Global Crossing Airlines [FATs 006629-6634]. Greenwich Highland inducted for conversion its first A321-200 (1438, ex-AtlasGlobal). The aircraft will be converted with 321 Precision Conversions in Lake City [FAT 006726]. Global Crossing Airlines placed a lease order for one A321-200P2F with ST Engineering [FAT 006646]. Sine Draco inducted for conversion its conformity A321-200 (963, ex-AtlasGlobal). It will convert the aircraft in Tucson (TUS) [FAT 006665]. GTLK Europe inducted for conversion an A321-200 (2903). The aircraft will return to SmartLynx after conversion with Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) in San Antonio (SAT) [FAT 006692]. Titan Airways inducted for conversion one of its A321-200s (3749). The aircraft will be converted by EFW in Singapore (XSP) [FAT 006693]. Spectre Air Capital inducted for conversion a 737-800 (30197, ex-SAS). The aircraft will be converted by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in Tianjin (TSN) [FAT 006623]. Spectre also took redelivery of a 737-800BDSF (30468, ex-SAS), following conversion with IAI at TSN [FAT 006624]. Spectre also acquired a 737-800 (28327, ex-SAS) [FAT 006644]. Aero Capital Solutions inducted for conversion a 737-800 (29984, ex-Jin Air). The aircraft will be converted by Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI) at XMN [FAT 006635]. Aero Capital Solutions also took redelivery of a 737-800SF (30877, ex-Jeju Air), after conversion with AEI in Jinan (TNA) [FAT 006727]. DHL Express acquired a 737-800BDSF (30468, ex-SAS) from Spectre Air Capital [FAT 006645]. K-Mile Air took delivery of a 737-800BCF (29930, ex-Aeromexico) on lease from JP Lease, and will operate it in ACMI service for Teleport [FATs 006647-6649]. Genesis placed a conversion order for two 737-800BCFs with Boeing [FATs 006650-6651]. Russia-based Atran added a 737-800BCF (33718, ex-Ryanair) on lease from GECAS, following conversion with Boeing in Shanghai (PVG) [FATs 006656-6657]. Iceland-based Bluebird Nordic took delivery of its first 737-800BCF (29788, ex-Turkish Airlines), on lease from affiliate AviaAM Leasing [FAT 006658]. ASL Airlines took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (35553, ex-Ryanair), after conversion with Boeing at TNA [FAT 006669]. ASL also acquired and inducted for conversion a 737-800 (33719, ex-Ryanair). The aircraft will be converted by Boeing at TNA [FAT 006677-6678]. Amazon took delivery of a 737-800SF (29925, ex-Go2Sky) on lease from Aero Capital Solutions, and placed it with ASL Airlines Ireland for CMI operation [FATs 006670-6672]. BBAM inducted for conversion a 737-800 (32904, ex-Jettime). The aircraft will be converted by Boeing at TNA [FAT 006676]. Vx Capital took redelivery of a 737-800SF (28535, ex-Corendon Airlines), after conversion with AEI in Kelowna [FAT 006688]. GA Telesis placed an order for six more 737-800SF conversions from AEI [FATs 006695-6700]. AAR acquired a 737-700 (29645) from Delta Air Lines and inducted it for conversion with PEMCO in Tampa (TPA) [FATs 006783-6785]. Mexico-based Aeronaves TSM took redelivery of a 737-400SF (28150, ex-Comair), after conversion with AEI in Dothan (DHN) [FAT 006667]. Estafeta took delivery of a 737-400SF (25168, ex-ASL Airlines Belgium), on lease from Vx Capital [FATs 006627 and 006675]. My Indo Airlines acquired a 737-400F (25857, ex-Cardig Air) [FAT 006684]. Sky One took delivery of a 737-400F (25102, ex-Alaska Airlines) on lease from Avmax, and placed it with Aviation Horizons for CMI operation [FAT 006725]. Aeronaves TSM acquired a 737-400F (24912, ex-Air Incheon) [FAT 006782]. Sideral acquired a 737-300F (23708) from European Aviation Group [FAT 006787]. FedEx took delivery of an ATR 72-600F (1686) from ATR [FAT 006622].
