Qantas Airways’ Executive Manager of Freight Catriona Larritt will join Cargo Facts Asia 2023 for the panel discussion “Air cargo and freighters in the Asia-Pacific region: A brightening future?” on April 18, at 9:15 a.m. (GMT +8).
Cargo Facts Asia will take place at the Pan Pacific Singapore on April 17-19. The event will gather industry leaders in the region to offer their perspectives and analyses on market trends and provide an outlook on the Asia-Pacific air cargo market.
Since the last Cargo Facts Asia in 2021, held virtually, Qantas has announced that it selected Elbe Flugzeugwerke’s A330-200P2F conversion. The first A330-200 under that deal began conversion in late 2022, and a second aircraft recently arrived in Dresden (DRS).
The carrier also has grown its narrowbody fleet of A321P2Fs and now operates three. In its updated group-wide fleet plan in late February, Qantas said it will increase its A321F fleet by three more units, adding to an order for six more, which was announced in 2022. With these orders, Qantas currently stands to operate one of the world’s largest fleets of A321Fs.
Larritt, who previously served as chief customer officer of Qantas’ low-cost subsidiary Jetstar, brings a variety of growth and customer-focused experience to the panel. She has held prior roles at The Boston Consulting Group and Australia Post.
Cargo Facts Asia, the essential event for stakeholders in Asia, will take place in person April 17-19 in Singapore. Register today.
