Since the last Cargo Facts Asia in 2021, held virtually, Qantas has announced that it selected Elbe Flugzeugwerke’s A330-200P2F conversion. The first A330-200 under that deal began conversion in late 2022, and a second aircraft recently arrived in Dresden (DRS).
The carrier also has grown its narrowbody fleet of A321P2Fs and now operates three. In its updated group-wide fleet plan in late February, Qantas said it will increase its A321F fleet by three more units, adding to an order for six more, which was announced in 2022. With these orders, Qantas currently stands to operate one of the world’s largest fleets of A321Fs.
Larritt, who previously served as chief customer officer of Qantas’ low-cost subsidiary Jetstar, brings a variety of growth and customer-focused experience to the panel. She has held prior roles at The Boston Consulting Group and Australia Post.
