Volga-Dnepr, SPARX Logistics agreement expands Canadian portfolio

Volga-Dnepr Unique Air Cargo (VD UAC) and U.S.-based SPARX logistics have signed a cooperation agreement that allows SPARX to offer an expanded range of air services to and from Canada.

Under the new agreement, SPARX now offers such services as project cargo, full or partial chartering, standard air cargo clearance and customs clearance. It also offers hand-carry service for “super-urgent” delivery, the company said.

SPARX also gains access to Volga-Dnepr’s fleet of 747 and An-124 freighters, which handle some of the largest payloads in airfreight. That allows SPARX to add heavy cargo handling to its Canadian portfolio.

SPARX is a 3PL that bills itself as a “boutique logistician” and specializes in customized, technology-driven shipping.
