Houston-based Crane Worldwide Logistics is opening another office, this one located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, as part of the customs brokerage and logistics company’s strategy to establish offices in what it sees as up-and-coming logistics hubs.

Gerard Ryan, regional vice president of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa for Crane Worldwide, said that, “With economic diversification as a focus, commercial growth is paving the way for transport infrastructure development particularly at airport and ocean ports” in Saudi Arabia.

The office, which covers airfreight, seafreight and logistics services, is served by King Fahd International Airport (DMM) and King Abdul Aziz Port. Other Crane Worldwide locations in the Middle East include facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Crane Worldwide also opened a new facility in Dallas recently “in preparation for continued growth in the Dallas region in 2018 and beyond.”
