Tianjin Air Cargo President Li Bin will join Cargo Facts Asia 2026 for the panel discussion “Evaluating narrowbody freighter demand in the Asia-Pacific region” on Tuesday, March 24, at 13:30 (UTC +8).

View the full event agenda.

An HNA Aviation Group subsidiary, Tianjin Air Cargo’s second 737-800SF (32603, ex-Shan Xi Airlines) began conversion with AEI at HNA’s MRO affiliate Grand China Aviation Maintenance (GCAM) facility in Haikou (HAK) on Jan. 5.

Tianjin started operating its first 737-800SF in November 2024. That 2006-vintage aircraft (34707, ex-Hainan Airlines) was also converted at GCAM.

The carrier operates six other 737NG freighters:

  • One 737-800BCF on lease from Icelease;
  • Three 737-800BCFs on lease from AerCap;
  • One 737-800BCF on lease from Spectre Air Capital; and
  • One 737-700BDSF also on lease from Spectre.

Li will join the following industry leaders on the panel:

  • Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, chief executive, MJets Air; and
  • Mark Sutch, chief commercial officer cargo, IndiGo Airlines

The panel discussion will address:

  • The proliferation of 737-800Fs across new and established operators;
  • Keeping 737 Classics flying; and
  • Implications of the growing footprint of A320 and A321 freighters.

Cargo Facts Asia 2026, the indispensable event for Asia-Pacific stakeholders, will take place March 23-25 at the W Shanghai. Learn more and register today.
