Tianjin Air Cargo President Li Bin will join Cargo Facts Asia 2026 for the panel discussion “Evaluating narrowbody freighter demand in the Asia-Pacific region” on Tuesday, March 24, at 13:30 (UTC +8).
The fourteenth annual Cargo Facts Asia conference will take place March 23-25 at the W Shanghai, bringing together decision-makers, global executives and leaders to analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Asia.
An HNA Aviation Group subsidiary, Tianjin Air Cargo’s second 737-800SF (32603, ex-Shan Xi Airlines) began conversion with AEI at HNA’s MRO affiliate Grand China Aviation Maintenance (GCAM) facility in Haikou (HAK) on Jan. 5.
Tianjin started operating its first 737-800SF in November 2024. That 2006-vintage aircraft (34707, ex-Hainan Airlines) was also converted at GCAM.
The carrier operates six other 737NG freighters:
- One 737-800BCF on lease from Icelease;
- Three 737-800BCFs on lease from AerCap;
- One 737-800BCF on lease from Spectre Air Capital; and
- One 737-700BDSF also on lease from Spectre.
Li will join the following industry leaders on the panel:
- Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, chief executive, MJets Air; and
- Mark Sutch, chief commercial officer cargo, IndiGo Airlines
The panel discussion will address:
- The proliferation of 737-800Fs across new and established operators;
- Keeping 737 Classics flying; and
- Implications of the growing footprint of A320 and A321 freighters.
