HAECO to convert 757s for Precision in US

Precision Aircraft Solutions signed an agreement with HAECO Americas under which HAECO will provide touch labor on Precision’s 757-200PCF passenger-to-freighter conversions at its Greensboro facility (at the Piedmont Triad Airport – GSO).

The first HAECO Americas conversion will be of ex-VIM Airlines unit 25441, which was purchased by a joint venture of Precision and US-based Aerolease Aviation. Conversion of the aircraft to 15-pallet PCF freighter configuration is scheduled to begin later this month, and the Precision/Aerolease jv will market the converted freighter.

While this will be the first conversion by HAECO Americas, HAECO has performed 757 P-to-F conversions for Precision for many years at its TAECO facility in Xiamen, China.
