United Kingdom-based logistics company Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) released an updated version of its cargo management software, Hermes 5 (H5), which will allow for “simpler integration with new technologies,” and give handlers of sensitive cargo the ability to run the software within any private or public cloud service.

The company premiered the product at Vietnamese warehousing and cargo handling company Aviation Logistic Services’ (ALS) Cargo Terminal in the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam.

This version of the software integrates ALS’ infrastructure to accommodate customers that move cargo through Hanoi, offering “pre-advice messaging between its hub and satellite warehouses to gain key task visibility and efficiencies in cargo transfer times,” said CEO of HLT, Yuval Baruch.
