Avolon’s Shelley Raina Talwar joins Cargo Facts Symposium 2023

Avolon Vice President of Airline Analysis Shelley Raina Talwar will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2023 for the panel discussion “Freighter leasing: Implications of the growing order backlog” on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 11:45 a.m. PDT (GMT -5).

The 29th Cargo Facts Symposium will take place Oct. 25-27 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, where industry leaders will share their insights and analyses on developing market trends while providing an outlook on the air cargo industry in the Americas and around the world.

Avolon, the second-largest lessor globally and the largest manager of A330s, announced its entry into the freighter sector in 2021 as the launch customer for the IAI A330-300BDSF conversion program — the first IAI freighter conversion for an Airbus aircraft. The prototype (1574, ex-Air Europa) arrived in Tel Aviv (TLV) in February.

Talwar was appointed vice president of airline analysis at Avolon in 2021 and is responsible for Avolon’s freighter business development, specifically the marketing of the upcoming A330-300BDSF.

Prior to joining Avolon, she spent fifteen years in various roles at Airbus in Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany.
