As commercial aviation continues to recover from pandemic-related travel restrictions that have grounded large swathes of the world’s passenger fleet, aircraft values are in flux.
In this year’s valuation panel, titled “Deal or no Deal: Inside aircraft values, freighter edition,” taking place from 9:05 am to 10 am on Wednesday, Oct. 27, five experts will analyze and discuss the state of values and lease rates for freighter aircraft as well as passenger feedstock for conversion, more than eighteen months since the onset of the pandemic.
The session will be moderated by Doug Kelly, senior vice president of asset valuation at AVITAS.
The panelists are:
- George Dimitroff, head of valuations at Ascend;
- Mark Halsor, president of Aviation Asset Management Inc.;
- Olga Razzhivina, director at Oriel; and
- Lindsey Webster, VP of asset valuations at mba Aviation.
New customer deals and new passenger-to-freighter conversion programs abound, but are values and rates fully reflective of such a red-hot market?
