New Pelican BioThermal packaging center opens in Belgium

The temperature-controlled packaging company Pelican BioThermal (Peli) will hold a grand opening of its new Brussels service center on Nov. 9.

The Brussels facility will serve as a receipt and return center for rentals of Peli’s reusable Credo temperature-controlled packaging for pharmaceutical transport. The Brussels center is the second such European facility to open after U.S.-based Peli’s U.K. center opened in 2016. The company also opened a Singapore center in 2016 and a Puerto Rico center in August 2017.

Peli’s rental service offers daily, monthly and other rental terms and provides qualification reports and refurbished products. Peli president David Williams said the services available at its Belgium center are replicated at all other centers, “with an additional dozen centers planned throughout 2018.”
