Team Worldwide will expand its freight-forwarding and 3PL network to Indianapolis, U.S., starting Jan. 9, with the opening a new outpost near the Indiana Railroad/Canadian National Intermodal terminal.

The Indianapolis outpost will be the first foreign trade zone (FTZ) warehouse facility in Team Worldwide’s global network, providing global connectivity, in addition to regional or national distribution.

The new facility will target Indianapolis’ regional economic strengths, including pharmaceuticals, bioscience, automotive manufacturing, plastics, and a growing portfolio of cross-border exports.

The new Indianapolis branch will offer an FTZ solution to complement a wide selection of air, ocean, full-truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and specialty “white glove” services to the “strong and growing Indianapolis distribution and logistics industry,” said Andrew Manville, one of the three owner/operators of the new facility.
