United Cargo approves CSAFE’s RAP containers

United Cargo has approved the use of CSafe’s RAP containers for its fleet – another addition to its growing list of approved containers, which already includes CSafe’s RKN container and unaffiliated temperature-controlled container company ThermoSafe.

The CSafe RAP uses a compressor-driven cooling and heating system to maintain user-defined payload temperatures in the -30°C to +54°C range, regardless of ambient conditions. Its payload compartment accommodates up to four standard U.S. pallets or five standard European pallets, with a battery run-time of more than 120 hours.

“The CSafe RKN container has been a key component of our TempControl service since 2010,” said Jan Krems, president of United Cargo. “The demand for pharmaceuticals and other healthcare products grows every year, and customers and patients worldwide are seeking expanded capacity.”

Many of the same leasing options currently available for the CSafe RKN will now be available for the new CSafe RAP container, United Cargo said.
