海航集团的子公司金鹏航空（前扬子江速运航空），从顺丰航空湿租了1架波音757-200PCF货机，开通了郑州至台北的每周2班的定班服务。该租赁期限为期一年，但考虑到顺丰速运正处于高速成长期，为何缩减1架货机运力并提供给另一家航空公司？据中国新闻社民航局的报导，两家航空公司正在携手面对航班时刻的瓶颈，以及海峡两岸航空货运业务日益激烈的竞争。 换句话说，该货班不仅由顺丰航空提供机组，很可能将运营顺丰航空难以申请时刻的航线，承载顺丰速运的货物。这并不奇怪，例如，顺丰航空在郑州仅开通3条国内业务的波音737F航班，而作为中国快递业务的长期运力提供者金鹏航空，则早已开通了3条直通欧美的波音747-400BDSF航班。 目前，金鹏航空虽然没有运营波音757系列的自有货机，但《空运通讯》预计，在不久的将来，金鹏航空将稳步实施之前制定的机队扩张计划，并扩充该类机型。除了以上提及的3架波音747-400BDSF以及1架最近租赁的波音757-200PCF，金鹏航空还拥有3架波音737-400F和14架波音737-300F，另有1架通过阿特拉斯航空集团湿租的波音747-400F。
