Cargo shippers to pay SAF levy on flights from Singapore

Levy to be calculated per kilogram of cargo, distance to destination

Singapore will implement a sustainable aviation fuel levy in 2026 that includes a per-kilogram cost for cargo shipments.  Singapore set a goal last year for all flights departing the country to use at least 1% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by 2026.
