October freighter transactions fall with the season

Cargo Facts recorded fifty-seven freighter aircraft transactions for the month of October, a year-over-year decrease of seventy-three. Freighter aircraft transactions (FATs) for the month dropped by twenty-five when compared with September. Narrowbody FATs fell by three month over month to twenty-seven. AerCap, which accounted for eleven of those narrowbody transactions, delivered one A321-200P2F each to Brazil-based Azul (2741) and Spain-based Swiftair (3964), one 737-800BCF each to China-based JD Airlines (32685) and Malaysia-based Kargo Xpress (30697), and sold a 737-300BDSF (24024) to Aeronaves TSM. Although widebody freighters did not lead the month’s transactions, 747 freighters remained one of the highlights in the sector as three 747-8Fs entered service with Atlas Air. Challenge Group and Fly Meta each acquired a 747-400F while Moldova-based Fly Pro began CMI operations with a 747-200F on behalf of Global Service Solutions. Below is a list of freighter aircraft transactions recorded in October. Each transaction contains a unique FAT code linked to the Cargo Facts FAT Database . Atlas Air reactivated three 747-8Fs (60117, 60118 and 60119, ex-AirBridgeCargo) and put them into service [FATs 10088-10089, 10093 and 10115]. Challenge Group acquired a 747-400F (33729, ex-China Airlines) from Air Atlanta Icelandic [FAT 10106]. Fly Meta acquired a 747-400F (33731, ex-China Airlines) from Air Atlanta Icelandic [FAT 10107]. Global Service Solutions placed a 747-200F (23139, ex-My Freighter) with Fly Pro for CMI operation [FATs 10116-10117]. AerCap inducted for conversion a 777-300ER (33865, ex-Emirates). The aircraft will be converted with IAI in Tel Aviv (TLV) [FAT 10085]. DHL Express placed two 777Fs (66079 and 66080, ex-DHL Air UK) with Central Airlines for CMI operation [FATs 10108-10109]. Amazon took delivery of two A330-300P2Fs (1865 and 1071, ex-Etihad Airways) on lease from Altavair and placed them with Hawaiian Airlines for CMI operation [FATs 10104-10105 and 10132-10133]. CAM acquired an A330-300 (641, ex-China Airlines) [FAT 10139]. DHL Express placed an A330-200F (1688, ex-CMA CGM) with ASL Airlines Ireland for CMI operation [FAT 10084]. Amazon transferred a 767-300BCF (26265, ex-LATAM) from Atlas Air to ABX Air for CMI operation [FATs 10086-10087]. Jetran acquired a 767-300BDSF (24146, ex-Amerijet) from CAM [FAT 10091]. Saltchuk returned a 767-300BDSF (25451, ex-American Airlines) off lease to CAM [FAT 10096]. FedEx took delivery of a 767-300F (67538) from Boeing [FAT 10114]. DHL Express transferred an A300-600F (855) from Air Hong Kong to ASL Airlines Ireland for CMI operation [FATs 10129-10130]. Amerijet returned a 757-200PCF (26245, ex-Icelandair) off lease to Petrus Aviation [FAT 10071]. BBAM acquired an A321-200P2F (3749) from Titan Airways [FAT 10092]. Azul took delivery of an A321-200P2F (2741, ex-China Southern Airlines) on lease from AerCap after conversion with EFW in Guangzhou (CAN) [FATs 10110-10113]. AerCap took redelivery of an A321-200P2F (3964, ex-Vietnam Airlines) after conversion with EFW in Singapore (XSP) and placed it on lease to Swiftair [FATs 10137-10138]. ASL Airlines Ireland began operating a 737-800BCF (33023, ex-TUIfly) on an ACMI basis for SolitAir [FAT 10083]. Kargo Xpress took delivery of a 737-800BCF (32685, ex-Raindo United Services) on lease from AerCap [FATs 10102-10103]. Poste Air Cargo took delivery of two 737-800BCFs (34280, ex-Ukraine International Airlines, and 34684, ex-Go2Sky) on lease from BBAM [FATs 10120-10127]. Allied Air acquired a 737-800SF (30146, ex-Garuda) from BlackRock [FAT 10128]. AerCap took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (30697, ex-China Southern Airlines) after conversion with Boeing in Jinan (TNA) and placed it on lease to JD Airlines [FATs 10134-10136]. Vaayu Group took redelivery of an A320-200P2F (2288, ex-Lauda Europe) and placed it on lease with Fly Vaayu [FATs 10094-10095]. Armenia Airways acquired a 737-300F (27459) from Texel Air [FATs 10118-10119]. Aeronaves TSM acquired a 737-300BDSF (24024, ex-Estafeta) from AerCap [FAT 10131]. ACIA Aero Leasing took redelivery of an ATR 72-500F (727, ex-Amazon) after conversion with Empire Aerospace facility in Coeur d’Alene (COE) [FATs 10097-10101]. FedEx took delivery of a Cessna SkyCourier (408-0035) from Textron Aviation [FAT 10090].
