Mak has more than thirty years of experience in the aviation industry, beginning with Cathay Pacific, where he was an assistant manager before rising to become manager for Singapore.
After Cathay, Mak was an executive manager for planning at HAECO for five years. He left the HAECO group in 2011 and briefly was chief strategy officer of Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies. Mak served as vice president and head of Asia Pacific at Atlas Air before his current role at SF.
Mak also serves as chief executive of Plus Logistics Solutions Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NCA, and is director of Asia Pacific for NCA.
