Cathay Pacific 747-8F

Fresh from the cover of January’s issue of Cargo Facts is one of several Cathay Pacific Cargo 747-8f’s on the flight line at Paine Field (PAE). This was taken on a very cold and clear morning, and the shaded side of the aircraft is coated with a light touch of frost. In the background are the Olympic mountains, located across Puget sound to the west of Everett and Seattle. Of Cathay’s ten orders, as many as five are on the flight line, one of which (B-LJA, msn: 39238) is in a special “Hong Kong Trader” scheme. This aircraft appears to be B-LJB (msn: 39239).

Happy year of the Rabbit!
