First 777F for Korean Air Cargo
The First 777 Freighter for Korean Air Cargo isn’t painted yet, but should fly for the first time this week. HL8251 (msn: 37639) is the first of five 777Fs that were part of a large order Korean Air placed with Boeing at the tail end of 2006, which included 777-300ER, 747-8, and 737 orders and options.
The 777F is the first non-747 freighter in Korean Air Cargo’s fleet since the cessation of MD-11F operations in the spring of 2005.
