Colombia-based Tampa Cargo (now 100% owned by AviancaTaca) placed a firm order with Airbus for four A33-200Fs. According to Airbus, the A330 Freighters will replace Tampa’s current fleet, which consists of four 767-200Fs and one recently-acquired 767-300ERF.
The order comes on the day of the first anniversary of the A330-200F’s entry into revenue service.
