Cargo Facts Consulting: Less than half of COVID-19 vaccines will move by air

Based on COVID-19 vaccine production sites and demand for up to 12.6 billion doses, Cargo Facts Consulting estimates that about 41% of all vaccines will be moved by air.

Delivering the vaccine could add approximately 50,000 tonnes of additional intercontinental traffic over the next two years, depending on how production capacity ramps up in the next four to five months, the consultancy finds.
