E-commerce led growth in the region again in 2025, particularly along the Latin America-China trade lane.
Fleet growth in Latin America was mixed last year. While older 737 Classics remained in demand by some carriers, current-generation freighters like 737-800s and Airbus conversions continued to find their way to other operators.
In Mexico, 2025 saw Awesome Cargo start flying its A330-200P2F conversions, and Avianca rebranded AeroUnion as Avianca Cargo Mexico as part of an agreement between the two carriers.
