Robert Zhang, commercial director for SF Airlines, will join Cargo Facts Asia 2026 for the panel discussion “Assessment of the Asia-Pacific freighter market” on Tuesday, March 24, at 9:15 (UTC +8).
The 14th annual Cargo Facts Asia conference will take place March 23-25 at the W Shanghai, bringing together decision-makers, global executives and leaders to analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Asia.
Zhang joined SF Airlines in 2013. In addition to serving as commercial director, he had various executive management roles with SF Airlines for nearly twelve years, including director of aircraft trading and business development project manager.
China-based SF Airlines launched its first all-cargo 747-400F route from Ezhou, China (EHU), to East Midlands, United Kingdom (EMA), through a one-year charter agreement with Air One in December 2025.
The carrier operates the largest freighter fleet in China, and EHU is its main hub.
SF Airlines’ freighter fleet consists of:
- Four 747-400Fs;
- Twenty-three 767-300BCFs;
- Forty-three 757-200PCFs;
- Two 737-800BCFs;
- Three 737-400Fs; and
- Thirteen 737-300Fs.
Zhang will join two other air cargo executives:
- Audrey Cheong, vice president of operations, FedEx China; and
- Hakan Bulat, president of Hong Kong Air Cargo.
The panelists will discuss:
- Gauging shifting air cargo demand away from North America and to Europe and Central Asia;
- Implications of trade regulations on trans-Pacific freighter demand; and
- Assessing the growth potential of new and established e-commerce hubs inside and outside of China.
