China Airlines’ Eddy Liu to join Cargo Facts Asia for fireside chat
Hear from Eddy Liu, vice president of cargo at China Airlines, at this year’s Cargo Facts Asia.

Cargo Facts is pleased to announce that Eddy Liu, vice president of cargo at China Airlines, will speak at Cargo Facts Asia 2021 in an exclusive fireside chat.

This year’s virtual symposium will include live and on-demand sessions that will air April 20-21.

Liu oversees one of Asia’s largest and most dynamic cargo fleets, which currently includes eighteen 747-400Fs, three 777Fs and has at times throughout the year included passenger freighters as a supplement. Since the onset of the pandemic, China Airlines’ cargo division has delivered a rare lifeline to its struggling passenger arm.

Liu was named Air Cargo Executive of the Year in 2020 by our sister publication, Air Cargo World, for his leadership during the pandemic. China Airlines’ cargo division not only achieved triple-digit year-over-year increases in revenue for two consecutive quarters last year, but actually saved the airline from the red in the second quarter of 2020.

Liu has been with China Airlines for around thirty-five years, having served as general manager of cargo marketing and planning; assistant vice president of cargo sales, marketing and services; general manager of America cargo sales and services; and general manager of Europe cargo sales and services.

Check out this year’s agenda of topical sessions and stimulating 1:1 and group networking opportunities on our conference website, www.cargofactsasia.com.
