Ingrid Raj, vice president of aviation at DHL Express Asia Pacific, will speak at Cargo Facts Asia 2021 on the topic of freighter conversions and fleet development in today’s dynamic market.
The session will be broadcast live on Wednesday, April 21, from 10:00 – 10:45 (GMT+8), during this year’s virtual presentation of Cargo Facts Asia 2021.

Raj will share her insights on the Asia–Pacific airfreight market, and the fleet it requires in 2021 and beyond. Joining speakers from CDB Aviation, BlackRock, and other leading aircraft leasing and finance companies, panelists will discuss what suitable conversion feedstock looks like for operators in the region, and the evolving leasing space that includes a growing number of lessors, and freighter conversion options.
DHL Express has been an early adopter of some newer passenger-to-freighter conversion programs, including the A330-300P2F and the 737-800BDSF. Through Air Hong Kong, DHL Express currently operates three A330-300P2Fs in its Asia–Pacific network. Later this year, 737-800 freighters are also expected to join the regional network.
Ingrid has over three decades of aviation management and network operations experience across more than forty countries and territories in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining DHL Express in 2007, Ingrid held a variety of sales, operations and business development roles at Lufthansa Cargo.
