UPDATE: UPS MD-11F crashes after takeoff from SDF

A 1991-vintage MD-11F being operated by UPS crashed early yesterday evening in Louisville, Ky., killing nine people. The CF6-powered aircraft (48417), operating flight 2976 from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) to Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), crashed shortly after takeoff at around 5:15 p.m. local time, the FAA said in a statement. [...]
