In his role as head of valuations at Ascend by Cirium, Dimitroff has top-level responsibility for all the current and future value and lease rate opinions produced by the company. Ascend, which operates globally, works with clients and players across the aviation industry, producing case studies for clients including DAE Capital, Development Bank of Japan, IATA and TrueNoord.
Dimitroff, an IATA-certified appraiser, has experience supporting aircraft leasing and financing transactions, helping startup leasing companies with their strategy and growth plans, valuations and appraisals, and working with airlines on fleet planning and aircraft selection. He has also worked with aircraft lessors, aviation finance banks, aircraft and engine manufacturers as well as several airlines to support their decision-making processes.
At last year’s Cargo Facts Symposium, Dimitroff provided key insights into the A330 freighter market, noting the high proportion of lessor-owned units and the prospects for their conversion.
Dimitroff is currently based at Cirium’s New York office but has worked extensively with Asian, European, African and Middle East clients in the past from Cirium’s London and Hong Kong offices.
Since 1994, Cargo Facts Symposium has been the premier air freight event of the year, and it remains a vital source of information and connection for the industry. The 2022 Symposium will once again bring together an exclusive group of aircraft lessors, service providers, and operators.
