EFW Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Lee London will join Cargo Facts Asia 2026 for the panel discussion “A review of next-generation widebody freighters in Asia” on Tuesday, March 24, at 16:00 (UTC +8).

The 14th annual Cargo Facts Asia conference will take place March 23-25 at the W Shanghai, bringing together decision-makers, global executives and leaders to analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Asia.

View the full event agenda.

London was appointed to his current role at EFW in September 2024. He has more than twenty-two years of leadership experience at Airbus, including as vice president of industrial cooperation and offset, and director of international cooperation.

The latest customer from China to place an A330P2F conversion order with EFW is Hengqin Winglet Aircraft Technology.  The company expects to send an A330-300 to EFW for conversion at a site in China by mid-2026.

Chinese carriers operate the most A330 conversions globally, with twenty-five units in service with six airlines:

  • Air Hong Kong, with ten A330-300P2Fs;
  • Air China Cargo, with eight A330-200P2Fs;
  • HNA subsidiary Capital Airlines, with one A330-300P2F and two A330-200P2Fs;
  • Sichuan Airlines, with two A330-300P2Fs;
  • JD Airlines, which put its first A330-200P2F into service at the end of January; and
  • Hong Kong Air Cargo, which also began operating its first A330-200P2F in January.

London will share insights on the widebody segment with:

  • Danny Duan, founder and chairman of Fly Meta;
  • Chung Mak, special advisor to Nippon Cargo Airlines; and
  • John Perdoch, director of product marketing for Boeing.

The panelists will discuss:

  • The importance of nose-loading aircraft and the outsized market in Asia;
  • An update on production and certification delays for new freighters; and
  • Growth trajectory and market demand for A330 conversions.

Cargo Facts will present four invaluable events for airfreight professionals in 2026, the next of which is Cargo Facts Asia on March 23-25. To see the agendas and register for the events, visit CargoFactsEvents.com.
