Orders continued to pour in during the second day of the Paris Air Show, although not quite at the rate we saw on Day One.
No freighter orders today, as most of the action centered around narrowbody jets in the 737 and A320 Families. AerCap made the biggest splash, with a firm order for 100 737 MAX 8s.
The chart at right reflects not only the additional orders and commitments booked on Day Two, but also the inclusion of the Comac C919 in the commercial jet category. Note also that the chart shows only firm orders and letters of intent — it does not include options.
In addition to the 588 orders shown here, carriers and lessors have also placed orders and letters of intent for 85 regional jets, 61 turboprops, and one VIP/Biz jet, for a total of 771 orders and commitments.
