Nexus Aviation Ventures’ Pablo Aguirre joins Cargo Facts Symposium 2023 

Pablo Aguirre, chief commercial officer of Nexus Aviation Ventures, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2023 for the panel discussion “Freighter leasing: Implications of the growing order backlog” on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 11:45 a.m. PDT (GMT -5). 

The 29th Cargo Facts Symposium will take place Oct. 25-27 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, where industry leaders will gather to share insights and analyses on developing market trends while providing an outlook on the air cargo industry in the Americas and around the world.

Nexus Aviation Ventures, a joint venture between AMTRA Aero and Nehalem Aviation Holdings, is one of the newest entrants in the freighter-leasing market. The company announced a deal in December 2022 to convert two A321-200s with 321 Precision Conversions. 

The first 2006-vintage aircraft (2919, ex-Aruba Airlines) was ferried to HAECO in Xiamen (XMN) in August and recently had its cargo door cut, while the second (2916, also ex-Aruba Airlines) was acquired by Nexus last month. 

Aguirre, who was appointed chief commercial officer for Nexus Aviation Ventures in January, previously served in various leadership roles during the past fifteen years with Omni Air International, Zephyrus Aviation Capital and AMTRA Aero.
