In just a few weeks, Lars Winkelbauer, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Polar Air Cargo; Zhang Dezhi, vice president of cargo at China Southern Airlines; and Ravishankar Mirle, vice president of cargo commercial for Far East and Australasia at Emirates, will speak at the virtual edition of Cargo Facts Asia. Don’t miss your chance to join the live session remotely, on Tuesday, April 21, at 08:45 a.m. China Standard Time.
During this session, our panelists will discuss strategies for navigating the volatility prevalent in today’s market, especially given the havoc the COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked on aviation so far, and look ahead to recovery and what is in store for airfreight in 2020 and beyond.

Winkelbauer rejoined Polar Air Cargo in July 2018, and is responsible for all aspects of aviation operations, strategy, and service performance in the worldwide Polar network. Before rejoining Polar, he served as vice president of Aviation Express for DHL Asia Pacific.
Zhang’s aviation career spans both passenger and cargo, and includes marketing and network planning functions. He pioneered international post projects for China Southern Cargo, forging partnerships with USPS, Royal Mail, Deutsche Post, AF-KLM, Sodexi, PostNL, La Poste and others, and now looks ahead to e-commerce.

The digital format of this year’s Cargo Facts Asia will enable attendees to participate in the discussions and submit questions in real time, as well as schedule one-on-one appointments.
Although Cargo Facts Asia 2020 will look much different, the unparalleled networking and continuing education opportunities remain, with the best and brightest minds addressing the most pressing industry issues for Asia Pacific — including those around COVID-19.
