Ted Lytle, chief strategy officer of Western Global Airlines, has joined the Cargo Facts Symposium 2020 speaker faculty. Lytle will discuss the future of widebody freighters with a panel of distinguished industry speakers on a virtual roundtable session titled, “Big birds and plenty of pallets: Will renewed interest in widebody freighters last?”
The session will be broadcast live on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 4:15 p.m. EST.
Cargo Facts Symposium is the leading airfreight conference, and it remains vitally crucial to the industry during the COVID-19 crisis. This year’s virtual event runs Oct. 27-28 on a digital platform that allows for panels, live discussion and Q&A, as well as one-on-one networking. More information, along with the complete conference agenda, is available here, on the conference website.
Lytle joined Western Global Airlines in 2020 and oversees network planning, air and ground operations and business development supporting the company’s growth initiatives. Prior to joining Western Global, Ted spent 28 years at UPS Airlines in a variety of roles including flight operations, public affairs, international air operations, and charter sales.
In May of this year, Western Global added a 747-400F to its existing two-unit 747-400 fleet. The carrier’s fleet also includes fourteen MD-11Fs, four of which are currently inactive.
