国泰航空，八月货量同比增长11.3％
今年八月份，国泰航空的运输周转量达到了9.75亿吨公里，为2017年以来的最佳成绩之一。今年的前八个月，国泰航空货量同比增长了9.5％，运输周转量达到了74亿吨公里。国泰航空的商业及货运总监Ronald Lam表示“我们的货运业务持续良好势头，主要市场的业务需求依然保持强劲，航空货量增长大幅领先于航空运力增长，出港业务和进港业务均保持高水平的增长态势。总体而言，我们的货运业务收益呈现了良好的发展态势。展望未来，考虑到各种新品的上市在即，我们计划最大程度的投入航空运力以配合航空货运市场的巨量运输需求。”
