Amerijet continues to expand its widebody fleet, and expects to put into service its first 767-300BCF leased from Cargo Aircraft Management next month. The Miami-based airline recently secured Denmark-based Maersk as a CMI customer for 767 operations. Amerijet also has grown its 757-200F fleet to six of the type.

Strauss has more than thirty years of experience in the aviation industry. Before joining Amerijet in 2020 as chief executive, Strauss held leadership roles in global sales and operations at Air Canada, Hawaiian, Delta and Northwest Airlines. Strauss began his career with Emery Worldwide in 1987 where he began as a cargo handler and worked his way to vice president of transportation and logistics.

Strauss studied management at Ohio State, MIT and Cambridge Institute.
