EFW Chief Executive Jordi Boto will join Cargo Facts Symposium for the panel discussion “Type Talk A321s — The state of Airbus narrowbody freighters” on Friday, Oct. 23, at 10:45 a.m. (GMT -5).

The 32nd annual Cargo Facts Symposium will take place Oct. 21-23 at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, Tenn., where industry leaders and decision makers will gather to assess the latest trends and developments in the freighter sector, while sharing their insights to project the market’s growth trajectory.

View the Cargo Facts Symposium 2026 agenda.

Boto and Titan Airways Commercial Director Alex Harrington will provide a glimpse into the day-to-day operations and latest conversion developments for A321 freighters. The panelists will discuss:

  • The status and progress of conversion orders;
  • How conversion costs and lease rates may be contributing to slower demand; and
  • When the industry will see increased appetite for A320 freighters.

Boto became chief executive in 2022. He is a former helicopter pilot who served in various leadership roles with Airbus for more than twenty-five years.

EFW will see at least two more A321-200P2Fs enter service with Australia-based Qantas by yearend. The Australian carrier plans to take delivery of three more EFW-converted A321 freighters in 2027.

Meanwhile, Brazil-based Azul Linhas Aereas will also add four more A321-200P2Fs by the end of 2027, growing its Airbus narrowbody freighter fleet to six aircraft.

EFW received STC approval for its A320 family conversions from the Civil Aviation Administration of China in 2025.

Cargo Facts Symposium 2026, the premier event for the freighter aircraft and air cargo industries, will take place in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 21-23. Find out more and register by Sept. 4 to take advantage of early-bird pricing.
