Mike Berger, chief commercial officer of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), will speak on the opening plenary session of Cargo Facts Symposium 2021, to be held at the Wynn Las Vegas from Oct. 25 to 27.

Berger will join the Symposium’s opening roundtable discussion titled, “The future of freighters: How long will freighter demand remain strong.” The session, beginning at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, will explore how supply chains and consumer behavior reshaped by the pandemic continue to translate into new opportunities for air cargo carriers.

ATSG’s Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) leasing affiliate controls a growing portfolio of freighter-converted 767Fs – the world’s largest – and the company’s airlines operate the majority of the fleet in service on behalf of Amazon Air.  Earlier this month, CAM revealed long-term plans to add twenty freighter-converted A330s through 2025.

Berger joined ATSG in 2018 and had previously held senior management positions at major air express companies including TNT Europe, DHL, and Airborne Express.

Cargo Facts Symposium is the essential event for stakeholders in the air cargo industry. Learn more and register at www.cargofactssymposium.com.
