Since the last virtual Cargo Facts Asia event in 2021, ACN has acquired a 49% stake in Bahrain-based MENA Cargo, with plans to add two 767-300Fs and three 737-800Fs. Meanwhile, the group’s Malaysia-based World Cargo Airlines became the first operator in Southeast Asia to add 737-800Fs to its fleet.
ACN also has placed three 737 Classic freighters on its newest Indonesian airline, RGA-Black Stone Airlines, and rebranded its oldest subsidiary, Tri-M.G. Intra Asia Airlines, to Asia Cargo Airlines, which operates five 737-300Fs.
The group plans to expand into freighter conversions; Indonesia-based Aero Teknik — another ACN subsidiary — partnered with Bandarudara Internasional Jawa Barat (BIJB), owner of Kertajati International Airport (KJT), to build a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility that would serve as a heavy maintenance repair facility for its group and other operators in the region.
With over thirty years’ experience in the industry, Isaak grew his family-owned logistics business into a multinational group of cargo airlines in the Asia-Pacific region and Middle East with more than 800 employees.
