First test flight of MSN 116, an A330-300 converted by EFW for DHL Express.

EFW, the MRO and conversion joint venture of ST Aerospace and Airbus, received supplemental type certification (STC) from the European Aviation Safety Agency for it passenger-to-freighter conversion program for the A330-300.

The conformity aircraft (116) will be redelivered soon to launch customer DHL Express, which will hand it over to ASL Airlines Ireland for operation on a CMI basis.

This is the first of eight A330-300 P-to-F conversions DHL has on firm order with EFW.
