A year-and-a-half after opening in May 2013, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport (HFE), in China’s Anhui Province, received its first-ever all-cargo aircraft: A 737-300F, operated by SF Airlines. The freighter flew the route from Shenzhen Bao’an International (SZX) to Hefei on 30 September and 1 October on a trial basis, and will begin regular, five-times-per-week flights on the route in November. SF Airlines, the air arm of Shenzhen-based SF Express, currently operates five 737-300Fs, three 737-400s, and eight 757-200Fs. It has six more 757-200Fs on order.
