LATAM Cargo’s Bianchi joins Cargo Facts Symposium 2024

LATAM Cargo Chief Executive Andres Bianchi will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2024 for the panel discussion “30th Anniversary Review: Freighters & the future of air logistics” at the Omni Hotel in San Diego on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 09:15 a.m. PDT (GMT -5).

Cargo Facts Symposium, which takes place Oct. 14-16, has been the premiere event for the freighter aircraft industry for three decades. The event gathers industry leaders to share their insights with stakeholders and attendees, provides in-depth analysis of the air cargo sector and enables participants to expand their network with respected executives and decision-makers.

Bianchi was named CEO of LATAM Cargo in 2017. He has eighteen years of industry experience, including other management roles at LATAM.

The carrier, which operates the largest freighter fleet in Latin America, is reducing the average age of its 767 freighter fleet by removing three production 767-300Fs and replacing with them younger 767-300BCF conversions.

The combination carrier has converted nine 767-300ERs from its passenger fleet as part of a conversion order with Boeing, with a tenth on the way.
