Carlos Herrera, managing director of Awesome Cargo, will join Cargo Facts LATAM 2026 for the panel discussion “Facilitating cross-border e-commerce in Latin America” on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 2:15 (GMT-6).
The fourth annual Cargo Facts LATAM conference will take place Feb. 10-12, at the Marquis Reforma in Mexico City, assembling decision-makers, global executives and leaders to share insights and analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Latin America.

Herrera became managing director of Awesome Cargo in July 2025. He has more than twenty-eight years of air cargo management experience, including as chief commercial officer at Aerocharter of Mexico, global sales director at Aeromexico Cargo and commercial manager at Mas.
Awesome became the latest carrier to operate full-freighter charters carrying cherries from Chile to China in November 2025 after launching revenue service with its first A330-200P2F (1252) in August 2025. A sistership (1218) entered service in September.
Awesome will receive a third A330-200P2F this year as part of a deal with Air Lease. That aircraft (1225) flew to Dresden (DRS) on Aug. 20, 2025, for conversion with EFW.
Awesome Cargo obtained its AOC from the Mexican Federal Civil Aviation Agency in 2023.
Herrera will join fellow panelists:

The panel will discuss:
- Building networks among logistics companies and freight forwarders;
- Tariffs, customs, nearshoring trends and Latin America’s place in the global e-commerce market; and
- New policies and regulations to aid e-commerce growth in Latin America.
