Mylene Scholnick, senior adviser at World Star Aviation, will join Cargo Facts Symposium for the panel discussion “Type talk 737: Aging Classics and NGs, and ever-changing global fleet dynamics” on Friday, Oct. 23, at 11:45 a.m. (GMT -5).

The 32nd annual Cargo Facts Symposium will take place Oct. 21-23 at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, Tenn., where industry leaders and decision makers will gather to assess the latest trends and developments in the freighter sector, while sharing their insights to project the market’s growth trajectory.

View the Cargo Facts Symposium 2026 agenda.

Scholnick will combine her asset management and aviation finance experience with Hamden Aviation Executive Vice President Dora Alexander to share their insights on:

  • 737-800 feedstock availability as newer passenger aircraft production continues to ramp up;
  • The ongoing challenge of securing engines, parts and support; and
  • The resilience of 737 Classic freighters.

Scholnick was head of global fleet management at Amazon Global Air for six years before joining World Star Aviation. She has more than thirty-six years of leadership and experience in the asset management and aviation financing sectors, including senior adviser at ICF consulting firm, senior vice president of Skyworks Capital and NetJets.

World Star will soon expand its widebody leasing portfolio after inducting its first 777-300ERSF Big Twin conversion with IAI at the Ascent Aviation Services facility in Arizona.

The lessor recently reached a lease deal with Saltchuk Aviation to place a 737-800SF with the company’s Alaska-based Northern Air Cargo subsidiary and has delivered a 737-400F to its Aloha Air Cargo subsidiary.

World Star has continued expanding its footprint across South America in the past couple of years, delivering its first 737-400F to Colombia-based Aerosucre earlier this year.

Cargo Facts Symposium 2026, the premier event for the freighter aircraft and air cargo industries, will take place in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 21-23. Find out more and register by Sept. 4 to take advantage of early-bird pricing.
