Conservation nonprofit Warriors of Wildlife recently accompanied the kings and queens of the jungle — including five lions: Hercules, Cher, Khaya, Ilana and Arslan, and one tiger, Kisa — on a trip from Ukraine to their new home in South Africa. The journey, coordinated by DHL Global Forwarding, began at Boryspil International Airport (KBP) and ended 72 hours later at Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (JNB) with the help of the Turkish airfreight team. The royal family, veterinarians and the Warriors traveled the final leg of the trip by truck to reach the Simbonga Game Farm & Sanctuary located near Gqeberha, formerly Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa.
