Yesterday, FedEx Express took delivery of its 75th 767-300F (64057) from Boeing during a ceremony held at the manufacturer’s Paine Field (PAE) Delivery Center [FAT 005114]. Following the delivery, at least 50 more of the aircraft are on firm order with Boeing.
In celebration of the milestone, Cargo Facts decided to dig into the archives and revisit some of its top stories related to the development of FedEx’s 767-300F fleet.
- December 2011: FedEx unveils a new medium widebody strategy with its first firm order for twenty-seven 767-300Fs.
- July 2013: FedEx takes delivery of its first 767-300F.
- July 2015: FedEx placed its second major 767-300F order with Boeing for 50 firm plus options for 50 more in Done deal.
