November transactions slide below 70

Cargo Facts logged sixty-eight Freighter Aircraft Transactions in November, a drop of nearly 50% compared with October’s total. Redeliveries made a splash, accounting for ten of the month’s FATs, while conversions followed closely behind with nine. November saw eleven fewer transactions than November 2022, in which conversion inductions led the monthly total at seven and production deliveries trailed by one. Last month, Cargo Facts reported that Atlas Air had picked up the two 777F slots Air Canada canceled and expects to take delivery of the aircraft in the second half of 2024. Another November highlight was Japan-based Yamato Transport taking delivery of its first A321-200P2F . The freighter has begun training flights with Spring Airlines Japan, which will operate the aircraft on a CMI basis. Meanwhile, Altavair told Cargo Facts at the Dubai Airshow that it had placed a conversion order with IAI for six 777-300ERSFs with an option for four more. Cargo Facts also learned at the show that EgyptAir has conversion orders with EFW for two more A330-200P2Fs. Boeing accounted for most of aircraft acquisitions in November with three 737-800s, two 767-300ERs, one 747-400F and one 737-400SF. Below is a list of FATs recorded in November 2023 . Each transaction contains a unique FAT code linked to our FAT Database . Jetran acquired a 747-400F (30764, ex-China Airlines) [FAT 9201]. Altavair placed a conversion order for ten 777-300ERSFs with IAI [FATs 9221-9230]. Polar Air Cargo returned a 777F (66080) off CMI to DHL Express [FAT 9186]. Ethiopian Airlines took delivery of a 777F (68139) from Boeing [FAT 9200]. Atlas Air placed an order for two 777Fs with Boeing [FATs 9231-9232]. Atlas Air also took delivery of a 777F (67994) [FAT 9247]. DHL Express took delivery of a 777F (67145) from Boeing and placed it with Singapore Airlines for CMI operation [FATs 9239-9240]. CDB Aviation took redelivery of an A330-300P2F (908, ex-SmartLynx) after conversion with EFW in Mobile (BFM) and placed it on lease to Capital Airlines [FATs 9236-9238]. CAM took redelivery of a 767-300BDSF (40564, ex-ANA) after conversion with IAI in Tel Aviv (TLV) [FAT 9199]. CAM also acquired two 767-300ERs (26987 and 26983, both ex-Condor) [FATs 9205 and 9211]. Saltchuk Aviation inducted for conversion a 767-300ER (28141, ex-Azur Air). The aircraft will be converted with Boeing in Singapore (QPG) [FAT 9202]. My Freighter took delivery of a 767-300BCF (29386, ex-Air Canada) on lease from CAM [FATs 9206-9207]. UPS took delivery of a 767-300F (67970) from Boeing [FAT 9218]. Awesome Cargo took delivery of two A330-200s (1218 and 1225, both ex-Alitalia) on lease from Air Lease Corp. [FATs 9193-9194]. EgyptAir placed a conversion order for two A330-200P2Fs with EFW [FATs 9219-9220]. ASL Airlines Ireland returned an A300-600F (677) off CMI to DHL Express [FAT 9198]. DHL Express transferred an A300-600F (858) from Air Hong Kong to ASL Airlines Ireland for CMI operation [FATs 9248-9249]. Air Hong Kong returned an A300-600F (770) off CMI to DHL Express [FAT 9251]. Fuyo General Lease took redelivery of an A321-200P2F (4173, ex-Qatar Airways) after conversion with EFW in Singapore (XSP) and placed it on lease to Yamato Transport [FATs 9196-9197]. Fuyo also inducted for conversion an A321-200 (4530, ex-Qatar Airways). The aircraft will be converted with EFW at XSP [FATs 9203-9204]. Sichuan Aviation Industry Development took redelivery of an A321-200PCF (1926, ex-Air Macau) after conversion with 321 Precision Conversions in Chengdu (CTU) and placed it on lease to Sichuan Airlines [FATs 9208-9210]. AerCap inducted for conversion an A321-200 (3966, ex-Vietnam Airlines). The aircraft will be converted with EFW at XSP [FAT 9252]. DHL Express placed a 737-800BDSF (28327, ex-SAS) with Swiftair for CMI operation [FAT 9187]. ASL Airlines took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (30194, ex-Blue Air) after conversion with Boeing in Jinan (TNA) [FAT 9188]. Spectre Air Capital took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (33471, ex-Shanghai Airlines) after conversion with Boeing at TNA [FATs 9189-9192]. Air Inuit acquired a 737-800 (40855, ex-Comair) [FAT 9195]. Oman Air took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (35108) after conversion with Boeing at TNA [FAT 9212]. CSA Leasing took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (34248, ex-China Southern Airlines) after conversion with Boeing in Guangzhou (CAN) and placed it on lease to Air Central [FATs 9213-9217]. World Star Aviation inducted for conversion a 737-800 (34013, ex-GetJet Airlines). The aircraft will be converted with IAI in Yichang (YIH) [FAT 9235]. JLPS Ireland took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (33798, ex-Virgin Australia) after conversion with Boeing at CAN and placed it on lease to Chisholm Enterprises [FATs 9241-9244]. Aircastle took redelivery of a 737-800SF (34799, ex-SpiceJet) after conversion with AEI in Miami (MIA) [FAT 9246]. AerCap inducted for conversion a 737-800 (32688, ex-Shenzhen Airlines). The aircraft will be converted with Boeing at TNA [FAT 9250]. Hayways acquired a 737-400SF (28758, ex-Atran) from Vx Capital [FATs 9233-9234]. Aeronaves TSM inducted for conversion a CRJ200 (7601, ex-ExpressJet). The aircraft will be converted with AEI in Dothan (DHN) [FAT 9185]. FedEx Express took delivery of a Cessna 408 (408-0023) from Textron Aviation [FAT 9245].
