Andres Bianchi, chief executive of LATAM Cargo, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2026 for the panel discussion “Rebalancing capacity in the global freighter market” on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 9:15 a.m. (GMT -5).

The 32nd annual Cargo Facts Symposium will take place Oct. 21-23 at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, Tenn., where industry leaders and decision makers will gather to assess the latest trends and developments in the freighter sector, while sharing their insights to project the market’s growth trajectory.

Bianchi has accumulated more than eighteen years of executive management experience in the air cargo industry. He was promoted to CEO of LATAM Cargo in 2017 and previously served as LATAM Cargo’s vice president of finance and senior vice president of network.

As the largest freighter operator in Latin America, LATAM continues to expand globally, developing multiple trans-Atlantic routes over the past couple of years to support its cargo operations.

LATAM, which relaunched service to Venezuela in May, is also considering various options for its freighter fleet, which consists of thirteen 767-300BCFs and seven production 767-300Fs — more than any other scheduled combination carrier globally.

The airline converted ten of its young 767-300ERs with Boeing from 2021 through 2024 and sold two of its older production 767-300Fs in 2024 and 2025 to reduce the average age of its freighter fleet.

Cargo Facts Symposium 2026, the premier event for the freighter aircraft and air cargo industries, will take place in Nashville, Tenn., on Oct. 21-23. Find out more and register by Sept. 4 to take advantage of early-bird pricing.
