New cargo hub for ANA?

Japan-based All Nippon Airways (ANA) is planning a new Southeast Asia hub.

In an interview published in The Japan Times, Shinya Katanozaka, the newly appointed President of ANA Holdings, cited growing demand for Japanese products in Southeast Asia as the reason All Nippon was looking to set up a new hub for its international cargo business in the region. No hint was given about the new hub’s location.

ANA currently operates ten 767-300Fs (three production units and seven BCF conversions) mostly out of its overnight express hub in Naha, Okinawa, and will acquire at least two more this year.
