767-300s and regional freighters lead September FATs

For the first time in several months, 737-800s were not the main driver of monthly Freighter Aircraft Transactions recorded by Cargo Facts . Instead, 767s and regional freighters led September’s activity, each accounting for eleven of the fifty-four FATs Cargo Facts logged for the month. While the 767s were all -300s, the regional freighters consisted of CRJs and Cessna 408 SkyCouriers. Transactions involving acquisitions, inductions, redeliveries and leases of 737-800s and 737-800Fs have typically dominated over almost all other types. This was the case in August . Returning to September, other noteworthy FATs include Air Canada’s cancelation of a pair of new 777Fs , Qantas’ first A330-200P2F redelivery and Global Crossing Airlines’ order of an A321-200PCF from lessor CAM . DHL Express took delivery of a 777F (37717, ex-China Cargo Airlines) on lease from CCB Financial Leasing [FATs 9008-9010]. Cargojet inducted for conversion a 777-200LR (40560, ex-Delta Air Lines). The aircraft will be converted with Mammoth Freighters in Fort Worth (AFW) [FAT 9022]. Air Canada canceled an order for two 777Fs with Boeing [FATs 9039-9040]. Altavair inducted for conversion an A330-300 (1874). The aircraft will be converted with EFW in Shanghai (SHA) [FAT 9017]. Air Canada inducted for conversion a 767-300ER (30851). The aircraft will be converted with IAI in Tel Aviv (TLV) [FAT 9011]. Japan Airlines inducted for conversion a 767-300ER (40365). The aircraft will be converted with Boeing in Singapore (QPG) [FAT 9016]. Cross Ocean Partners took redelivery of a 767-300BDSF (29137, ex-TUI Airways) after conversion with IAI at TLV [FATs 9018-9021]. CAM took redelivery of a 767-300BCF (25583, ex-Air Canada) after conversion with Boeing at QPG [FAT 9032]. Challenge Group acquired and inducted for conversion a 767-300ER (28207, ex-Pegas Fly). The aircraft will be converted with IAI in Belgrade (BEG) [FATs 9033-9034]. Amazon took redelivery of a 767-300BDSF (30594, ex-Delta Air Lines) after conversion with IAI in Mexico City (MEX) [FAT 9037]. SF Airlines took redelivery of a 767-300BCF (30841, ex-EuroAtlantic Airways) after conversion with Boeing in Guangzhou (CAN) [FAT 9042]. Qantas took redelivery of an A330-200P2F (853) after conversion with EFW in Dresden (DRS) [FAT 9014]. AerSale inducted for conversion a 757-200 (32391, ex-American Airlines). The aircraft will be converted with Precision Aircraft Solutions in New Iberia (ARA) [FAT 9011]. AerSale also took redelivery of a 757-200PCF (29591, ex-American Airlines) after conversion with Precision Aircraft Solutions in Xiamen (XMN) and sold it to Cargojet [FATs 9030-9031]. AerSale also took redelivery of another 757-200PCF (32379, ex-American Airlines) after conversion with Precision Aircraft Solutions at XMN [FAT 9036]. Global Crossing Airlines placed a lease order for an A321-200PCF (1807, ex-Scandinavian Airlines) from CAM [FAT 9015]. Nexus Aviation Ventures acquired an A321-200 (2916, ex-Aruba Airlines) [FAT 9035]. Aero Capital Solutions took redelivery of an A321-200P2F (1185, ex-Finnair) after conversion with EFW at CAN [FAT 9038]. SmartLynx took delivery of an A321-200P2F (974, ex-Onur Air) on lease from JLPS Ireland [FAT 9041]. BBAM acquired a 737-800 (35681) from Alaska Airlines and inducted it for conversion with Boeing in Kelowna (YLW) [FATs 9006-9007]. BBAM also took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (33552, ex-Ryanair) after conversion with Boeing in Jinan (TNA) and placed it on lease to TAAG Angola Airlines [FATs 9023-9025]. Chisholm Enterprises took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (33013, ex-Comair) after conversion with Boeing at TNA [FAT 9050]. Rimbun Air purchased two 737-300Fs (27372 and 27518) from Loong Air [FATs 9012-9013]. Aerosucre took delivery of a 737-300F (24023, ex-Estafeta) on lease from Aventus Air Leasing [FATs 9028-9029]. Aeronaves TSM acquired three CRJ200s (7534, 7601 and 7528, all ex-ExpressJet Airlines) [FATs 9047-9049]. ValueJet took delivery of a CRJ200SF (7452, ex-Elite Airways) on lease from Regional One [FATs 9051-9052]. Proflight Zambia took delivery of a CRJ100F (7128, ex-TUM AeroCarga) on lease from Avmax [FATs 9003-9004]. FedEx took delivery of two Cessna 408 SkyCouriers (408-0017 and 408-0020) from Textron Aviation [FATs 9026-9027].
