A330s lead October transactions

Airbus conversions continue to surge, accounting for fifty-five of the 130 Freighter Aircraft Transactions for October. A330s accounted for twenty-nine transactions with eight A330-200 acquisitions and conversion orders highlighting the medium widebody group. CAM acquired its first pair of A330-300s (349 and 356) in October and inducted them for conversion with EFW in Istanbul (ISL) and Dresden (DRS), respectively. Meanwhile, with Airbus A320/A321 family freighter programs gaining momentum, A321s accounted for twenty-six transactions for the month. Overall, acquisitions were the most numerous transaction type for October with thirty-two, followed by conversion redeliveries at twenty-seven. Other highlights include COMAC’s first two ARJ21 conversions , Silk Way West’s first 777F delivery and GOL beginning ACMI service with the sixth 737-800BCF for Mercado Libre. Compass Air Cargo began operating a 747-400F (26559) on an ACMI basis for Qatar Airways [FAT 9125]. National Airlines acquired a 747-400F (30763) from Jetran [FATs 9171-9172] UPS retired an MD-11F (48576) and placed it in storage in Victorville (VCV) [FAT 9094]. DHL Express took delivery of a 777F (67144) from Boeing and placed it with Singapore Airlines for CMI operation [FATs 9061-9062]. Silk Way West Airlines took delivery of two 777Fs (67454 and 67455) from Boeing [FATs 9066 and 9184]. FedEx took delivery of two 777Fs (66264 and 66265) from Boeing [FATs 9104 and 9146]. Polar Air Cargo returned a 777F (66079) off CMI to DHL Express [FAT 9183]. JMB Aviation Group acquired two MD-10-30Fs (46871 and 48311) from FedEx [FATs 9158-9159]. CAM acquired two A330-300s (349 and 356, ex-ULS Airlines Cargo) and inducted them for conversion with EFW in Istanbul (ISL) and at DRS, respectively [FATs 9138-9141]. JLPS inducted for conversion an A330-300 (1510, ex-Philippine Airlines). The aircraft will be converted with EFW in Dresden (DRS) [FATs 9127-9129]. DHL took redelivery of an A330-300P2F (1378, ex-Avianca) after conversion with EFW at DRS and placed it with Air Hong Kong for CMI operation [FATs 9174-9177]. DHL also took redelivery of a 767-300BCF (42213, ex-LATAM) after conversion with Boeing at CAN [FAT 9067]. DHL also acquired a 767-300BDSF (29137, ex-TUI Airways) from Cross Ocean Partners after conversion with IAI at TLV [FAT 9173]. Air Canada took redelivery of a 767-300BDSF (24574) after conversion with IAI in Tel Aviv (TLV) [FAT 9093]. Japan Airlines inducted for conversion a 767-300ER (40366). The aircraft will be converted with Boeing at QPG [FAT 9095]. LATAM took redelivery of two 767-300BCFs (40798 and 42214) after conversion with Boeing in Singapore (QPG) and Guangzhou (CAN), respectively [FAT 9130 and 9147]. FedEx took delivery of three 767-300Fs (67532, 67530 and 67531) from Boeing [FATs 9102-9103 and 9152]. SF Airlines took redelivery of a 767-300BCF (30854, ex-EuroAtlantic Airways) after conversion with Boeing at CAN [FAT 9132]. Amazon placed a 767-300BDSF (30594, ex-Delta Air Lines) with Air Transport International for CMI operation [FAT 9153]. CAM took redelivery of a 767-300BDSF (25404, ex-Air Canada) after conversion with IAI at TLV [FAT 9160]. CAM also acquired an A330-200 (529, ex-Azul) [FAT 9149]. Air China Cargo acquired and inducted for conversion an A330-200 (860, ex-Air China). The aircraft is the first of eight that will be converted with EFW in Chengdu (CTU) [FATs 9073-9089]. Cargojet acquired a 757-200PCF (32392, ex-American Airlines) from AerSale after conversion with Precision Aircraft Solutions in New Iberia (ARA) [FATs 9090-9091]. Swiftair placed a lease order for two A321-200P2Fs from AerCap [FATs 9059-9060]. BBAM took redelivery of an A321-200P2F (5133, ex-Eurowings) after conversion with EFW in San Antonio (SAT) and placed it on lease to Lufthansa [FATs 9096-9097]. CAM took redelivery of an A321-200PCF (1807, ex-SAS) after conversion with 321 Precision Conversions in Tampa (TPA) and placed it on lease to Global Crossing Airlines [FATs 9098-9101]. Juniper Aviation Investments took redelivery of two A321-200P2Fs (3369 and 3669, ex-Cathay Pacific) after conversion with EFW in Singapore (XSP) and placed them on lease to MNG Airlines [FATs 9105-9116]. AerCap took redelivery of an A321-200P2F (3930 (ex-Air France) after conversion with EFW at XSP and placed it on lease to IndiGo [FATs 9150-9151]. BBAM took redelivery of an A321-200P2F (926, ex-Aer Lingus) after conversion with EFW at XSP and placed it on lease to AirAsia [FATs 9154-9157]. Modern Logistics took delivery of a 737-800BCF (33566, ex-Ryanair) on lease from BBAM [FATs 9055-9056]. ASL Aviation Holdings took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (33023, ex-TUIFly) after conversion with Boeing at CAN [FAT 9065]. ASL also inducted for conversion a 737-800 (36698, ex-SpiceJet). The aircraft will be converted with Boeing in London (LGW) [FAT 9126]. China Postal Airlines took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (35052, ex-Xiamen Airlines) after conversion with Boeing in Jinan (TNA) [FATs 9068-9071]. AerCap took redelivery of a 737-800BCF (35065) after conversion with Boeing in Shanghai (PVG) [FAT 9072]. Cargo Air took redelivery of a 737-800SF (30881, ex-Royal Flight) after conversion with AEI in Miami (MIA) [FAT 9120]. Alaska Airlines took delivery of a 737-800BCF (35682) on lease from BBAM after conversion with Boeing in San Jose (SJO) [FATs 9122-9123]. DHL took redelivery of a 737-800BDSF (28327, ex-SAS) after conversion with IAI in Naples (NAP) [FAT 9131]. Central Airlines took delivery of a 737-800BCF (32683, ex-Jeju Air) on lease from AerCap after conversion at TNA [FATs 9133-9137]. DHL acquired a 737-800BDSF (29931, ex-Garuda Indonesia) from Spectre Air Capital after conversion with IAI in Tianjin (TSN) [FATs 9178-9182]. Aeronaves TSM acquired two 737-400SFs (25181 and 25052) from ASL Aviation Holdings [FATs 9063-9064]. YTO Cargo Airlines took redelivery of an ARJ21-700CCF (112) after conversion with GAMECO at CAN [FATs 9161-9165]. Air Central took redelivery of an ARJ21-700CCF (109) after conversion with GAMECO at CAN [FATs 9166-9170]. FedEx took delivery of an ATR 72-600F (1755) from ATR [FAT 9121]. ACIA Aero Leasing took redelivery of an ATR 72-500F (813, ex-Firefly) after conversion with IPR Conversions in Coeur d'Alene (COE) [FATs 9117-9119]. Fleet Air acquired an ATR 72-202F (227) from Hawaiian Airlines [FAT 9124]. Everts Air Cargo took delivery of a Cessna 408 SkyCourier (408-0022) from Textron Aviation [FATs 9057-9058].
