CFC: Most conversion programs running at capacity

Additional lines to relieve constraints and restrictions

With strong air cargo, express and e-commerce market performance, demand for cargo conversions is at an all-time high — particularly for the 737-800, 757-200 and the 767-300. Activity for the A321 and A330-300 is also picking up. After around fifty narrowbody redeliveries in 2020, that figure will double to more than 100 this year, and will hold steady into 2022, according to estimates from Cargo Facts Consulting.

Most conversion programs are running at capacity, but new MROs and lines coming online in the next few years may help to alleviate some of the current constraints.
